The Southern California band pairs the news with two singles and an exclusive vinyl pre-order, marking their first full-length in three years.
Movements have confirmed details of their fourth studio album, ‘Happier Now’, the follow-up to 2022’s ‘RUCKUS!’. The record reunites them with producer Will Yip, whose hand has been on every Movements release since their debut. It’s a working relationship that’s defined the band’s sound: taut, melody-first post-hardcore with an emotional pull that resists melodrama.
Two new songs arrive alongside the announcement, landing as a pair of singles that pick up where the last album left off. The tracks are lean and immediate, built around the kind of vocal lines that have cemented Movements as a reliable force in a scene they’ve been shaping since 2015. Yip’s production keeps the guitars crisp and the rhythm section locked in, leaving space for the quieter moments to land without overstatement.
An exclusive vinyl edition of the album is up for pre-order now. In a genre that’s increasingly scattered across platforms, a deliberate physical release still signals intent. Movements have always understood that their audience values the object as much as the stream.
‘Happier Now’ is due out later this year through Fearless Records. The singles are streaming everywhere now.
