Upon A Burning Body Issue Two New Songs From ‘Blood of the Bull’ Deluxe Edition

The tracks “Voices In The Dark” and “A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing” are the first previews from the expanded version of the album, due May 29.

Upon A Burning Body have released two new tracks, “Voices In The Dark” and “A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing,” pulled from the deluxe edition of their latest album Blood of the Bull. The expanded record is set for May 29.

The pair of songs arrives without much fanfare—no video, no lead-up—just the music itself, which leans toward the band’s heavier, breakdown-focused side. The deluxe edition adds material to an album that already pushed their sound further into deathcore territory, and these tracks fit that same mold.

For a band from Texas that has spent years balancing flash and aggression, the straightforward rollout of these songs reads as a move toward keeping focus on the music rather than the image. Whether the full deluxe package will draw the same attention as the original release is another question, but the material is there now for anyone still listening.
