The new single draws from 1960s and ’70s Brazilian music and lands with a video shot in South Africa. A sprawling live run begins in September.
Jungle released the new single ‘The Wave’ as the latest preview of their album ‘Sunshine’, which arrives on 14 August. The track leans on the warmth and rhythmic pulse of 1960s and ’70s Brazilian music, while the lyrics circle ideas of resilience and keeping faith.
The accompanying video was directed by long-time collaborators J Lloyd and Charlie Di Placido of Contentus Maximus. Shot in South Africa, it stays close to the choreography-driven visual language the band has sharpened over several campaigns. Community and optimism run through the movement, but the setting adds a sharper light and wider terrain than their recent clips.
Alongside the track, the band detailed an extensive tour that stretches from September 2026 into March 2027. The routing covers North America, Europe, the UK, and Australia, with two nights at London’s O2 Arena anchoring the UK leg. Early stops include Minneapolis, Chicago, Toronto, and New York, before the itinerary moves through Lisbon, Paris, Berlin, and Milan, then on to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. Several shows, including both nights at Red Rocks and the Greek Theatre in San Francisco, are already sold out.
