Ciara Celebrates 10th Anniversary with New Single “Yes”

The R&B singer returns with her first new music of 2026, a track dedicated to a decade of marriage with Russell Wilson.

Ciara has released her first new music of 2026, a single titled “Yes” that arrives on the exact date of her tenth wedding anniversary to former NFL quarterback Russell Wilson. The track is a straightforward, affectionate piece of R&B, built on a theme of repeated commitment rather than the spectacle of a single moment.

“’Yes’ is a fun, flirty, feel-good anthem of commitment and choosing love every single day,” Ciara said in a statement. “When you find the right person, saying yes isn’t just one moment, it’s something you continue to choose through every season of life. Releasing this song on our anniversary is a declaration that I would say yes again and again.” The song was written by Ciara alongside Rachel West, Courtlin Jabrae, and Thom Bridges, who also handled production.

The release stands as a personal marker, not tied to any larger album announcement or promotional cycle. Ciara, whose last full-length project arrived in 2022, has kept a relatively low musical profile in recent years, making this a deliberate, self-contained gesture—one that foregrounds the private over the commercial.
