Wasia Project Share New Single ‘Vogue’ Ahead of Debut Album

The London duo sets up ‘Nocturne’ (out 18 September) with a club-inspired track about desire, ahead of a November UK tour.

Sibling duo Wasia Project have released “Vogue,” the latest preview of their debut album Nocturne, due 18 September. The track follows “Whale Call,” which appeared in the Netflix film Heartstopper Forever, starring the band’s own Will Gao.

The group describes the song as “an ethereal, club inspired song, about surrendering to desire rather than resisting it.” In a statement, they add: “It’s euphoric, sensual & immersive, exploring the anticipation of where a night might lead, the electricity of connection & the feeling of being completely consumed by someone. There’s a sense of obsession running through it.”

Wasia Project have also announced a short UK tour in November, with dates in Glasgow (SWG3 Galvanizers, 4th), Manchester (New Century, 6th), Leeds (Beckett Students Union, 7th), Birmingham (O2 Institute, 8th), Bristol (O2 Academy, 10th), and London (Roundhouse, 11th).
