Oso Oso have placed their next record at the start of a new label’s catalog. The Long Island band’s album, An Exchange of Information, is due November 6 as the inaugural release on Feral Twin, founded by Hop Along’s Mark Quinlan. Oso Oso have signed to the label for this record.
Quinlan framed the venture as a response to the pace of independent music. “I’m not interested in putting out records just to fill a release schedule,” he said in a press statement. “I want Feral Twin to be a home for music and ideas I genuinely believe in, made by artists I respect.” The lead single, “Know You Know Me Better,” arrives with the announcement, alongside cover art built around a giraffe.
The album follows Oso Oso’s 2024 LP Life Till Bones. This fall, Jade Lilitri will bring the band across North America through October and November, with Leisure Hour and Bad Luck. supporting on the East Coast and Liquid Mike and Bugsy out West.
