Travis Kelce Recalls Madison Square Garden Wedding to Taylor Swift

On New Heights, Kelce described the private July 3 ceremony, the no-phone policy, and Adam Sandler’s role as officiant.

Travis Kelce offered his first public details about his wedding to Taylor Swift on the latest episode of New Heights. The ceremony took place July 3, 2026 at Madison Square Garden, but the couple had kept nearly everything about it private until now.

Kelce framed the venue as a practical choice. “We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have an intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions,” he said. He credited Madison Square Garden for maintaining that privacy. The event was phone-free. “With no phones, people not having to be on guard, it makes everyone be in the moment and present,” he added.

The most specific revelation involved Adam Sandler. Kelce said the actor was ordained in New York specifically to officiate. “The way he did it, in the very Sand-man style… knowing that it was the biggest night of our lives, it was absolutely insane,” he said.

Kelce also described the room as a mix of childhood friends, family, and professional circles. “We wanted it to be a beautiful ceremony and made sure everyone left there having some fun,” he said. The couple has not released official photos from the evening.
