Cristale Maps Out Her Debut Mixtape, ‘Clear Intentions’

Cristale’s rise has not followed the usual script. The South London rapper built momentum through sharp, precise storytelling, then stepped onto stages and screens most artists treat as separate lanes. Now she’s consolidating that trajectory with a debut mixtape, Clear Intentions, due 6th November via Believe Records.

The announcement arrives alongside ‘Quantum Loop,’ a new single that sits somewhere between reflection and assertion. It continues a thread Cristale has been pulling for a while: vulnerability delivered without softening the edges.

For Cristale, the project’s title is not a slogan. She frames intention as something deeper than ambition. “A goal feels more like a checkpoint, something you’re working towards, but an intention is something you feel,” she says. The distinction matters. The mixtape draws on that clarity across themes of ambition, relationships, and resilience, and folds in earlier tracks ‘No Harm’ and ‘Top 3’ alongside the new material.

She also took a hand in production, working with Young Chencs, Sphero, and Ferno. It follows a period of high-profile co-signs and collaborations, including work with Skrillex and ISOxo, an opening slot for Kojey Radical, and acting roles in Top Boy and Queenie. The résumé is already long. Clear Intentions sounds like the moment she stops listing achievements and starts defining the terms.
