SwayvoTwain Cast as The Notorious B.I.G. in Snoop Dogg Biopic

The son of D’Angelo and Angie Stone joins the cast of Snoop, Craig Brewer’s film set for release in August 2027.

The Snoop Dogg biopic has added another name to its growing cast. SwayvoTwain, the recording artist born Michael Archer Jr. and son of D’Angelo and Angie Stone, will play the Notorious B.I.G. in Craig Brewer’s Snoop. Variety reports that the role marks his first significant acting credit.

The film is scheduled for release on Aug. 6, 2027. Jonathan Daviss plays Calvin Broadus. Previously announced cast members include Myles Bullock as Dr. Dre, Algee Smith as Warren G, Camron Jones as Tupac Shakur, Tre Hale as Suge Knight, and Lauren London as Snoop’s mother Beverly Tate.

Alongside SwayvoTwain, Bentley Green has been cast as RBX and G Perico as Big Reecie Cup. Per IMDB, filming has already wrapped, leaving less than a year before the release date.
