Manchester Psych Fest returned in 2026 as the strongest node in the UK’s decentralised psychedelic circuit. Over the past decade, similar all-dayers have spread across the country, but this one-day event has built a reputation on pairing major names with cult figures and emerging artists without flattening the bill.

This year’s headliners represented two distinct poles: Ty Segall, the American garage-psych fixture, and The Beta Band, the Scottish group whose return gave the festival a rare legacy anchor. Elsewhere, Canadian act Angine De Poitrine drew a roadblock crowd, while Leeds-based bdrmm stretched shoegaze toward rave-adjacent textures. Adult DVD, Floral Image, Gwenno, Lael Neale, Maquina, and The Speed of Honey and Her Oscillations rounded out a schedule that kept multiple venues in motion.
