Shygirl will tour her forthcoming album Swallow! in 2027 with a full band for the first time, opening in Berlin and running through Europe, the UK and North America.
Shygirl’s next album will be the first she takes on the road with a band behind her. The London artist has announced a 2027 headlining run in support of Swallow!, her proper follow-up to 2023’s Nymph, out November 6 on Because Music.
The dates open at Columbiahalle in Berlin on March 13, then move through Amsterdam, Paris, Glasgow and Manchester before crossing to North America. April brings Salt Lake City, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Atlanta, Charlotte, Silver Spring and Toronto, with Boston, Brooklyn and Philadelphia in early May. A London show at the Royal Albert Hall follows on May 18, and Shygirl plays Primavera Sound in Barcelona in June. Before any of it, she appears at festivals in Turin, Reykjavik, Barcelona and Miami.
Swallow! has been introduced by the singles “Alyse” and “Lucky (Hymn).” A third track, “Mantra,” arrives with a video shot at an outdoor rave and framed as a prequel to the other two clips.
The band is the more telling detail. Shygirl’s catalogue has largely been built for clubs and headphones, and a full-band arrangement changes what these songs can do in a room. Booking the Royal Albert Hall suggests she means to test that at scale.
