See Tickets has oversold coach packages for Glastonbury 2027, but affected buyers will keep festival entry and receive coach fare refunds.
Glastonbury’s ticketing partner See Tickets has oversold coach package tickets for the 2027 festival, according to emails sent to customers. More seats were sold for certain departures than are available, an admin error that affects travel rather than festival entry.
Affected buyers will not lose their tickets. Their bookings will be converted into general admission tickets, and the coach fare will be refunded. The practical consequence is that they must reach Pilton independently, with roughly eight months to arrange it. See Tickets has apologised and thanked customers for their understanding, adding: “We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the festival in June.”
The error lands after the festival’s tickets sold out in less than an hour when they went on sale earlier this month. Organisers have confirmed a resale of cancelled or returned tickets, most likely next spring. Volunteering remains another route in, either through the festival or Oxfam, which is looking to fill its 2,000-strong team at Glastonbury.
For now, the coach oversale is a logistics failure rather than a threat to attendance. It also serves as a reminder that at Glastonbury, even the journey to the gates is part of a ticketing system under intense pressure.
