Interpol extend the touring cycle behind This Mirror Weighs a Ton into 2027, with Deafheaven opening a run through the southern US and up the East Coast.
Interpol have been touring through the fall and are not finished with it. The band has added a North American leg for March 2027, with Deafheaven opening eight dates that move from New Orleans and Texas up through Asheville, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and Sayreville, New Jersey.
The new shows close out a long stretch. In November, Interpol play arenas across Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK and Ireland with Bloc Party, then a short December run through Chicago, San Diego and Los Angeles. The March leg also includes Mexican dates with the Black Angels, among them a Mexico City stadium show where Queens of the Stone Age appear.
All of it backs This Mirror Weighs a Ton, released in August, the band’s first studio album since The Other Side of Make-Believe four years earlier. A live record, Live at Third Man Records, came in 2024.
Deafheaven are an odd but legible match: a band long tied to black metal and shoegaze, sharing a bill with one of the post-punk acts that has held its audience longest since the early 2000s. The scale shifts by country as well. The Mexican dates take arenas and a stadium, while the US shows with Deafheaven stay in theatres and ballrooms.
