Alan Sparhawk Announces New York Solo Performance with Circuit des Yeux and Poliça

The Low co-founder will perform at Knockdown Center in May, with additional collaborative dates with Circuit des Yeux’s Haley Fohr scheduled.

Alan Sparhawk has announced a solo performance at New York’s Knockdown Center on May 10. He will be joined by special guests Circuit des Yeux and Poliça.

The show marks a rare east coast solo outing for the Low co-founder, separate from the band’s ongoing activities. It follows his recent solo album, ‘Kill the Past, Kill the Future, Kill the Present,’ released last year.

In addition to this concert, Sparhawk will join Circuit des Yeux’s Haley Fohr for two special ‘Wordless Music’ performances. Those events are set for April 26 at the Perelman Center in New York and May 3 at the Getty Center in Los Angeles.

The lineup for the Knockdown Center show connects distinct yet complementary voices in contemporary experimental and art rock, suggesting a curated evening rather than a standard tour stop.
