The four-piece will take a rowdy victory lap across three US legs this summer and fall, marking two decades since their self-titled arrival.
Be Your Own Pet will spend much of 2026 on the road. The Nashville band is marking 20 years since its self-titled debut with a multi-leg US tour that stakes out three distinct regions across the warmer months.
The first run hits the South and Southwest in July, followed by a West Coast stretch in September. A final Northeast leg lands in October. City-by-city details are yet to surface, but the geographic spread already suggests a proper coast-to-coast return rather than a handful of nostalgia dates.
The anniversary lands at an interesting moment. Be Your Own Pet burned bright and fast in the mid-2000s, dissolving in 2008 before their raw, twitchy garage punk had fully saturated the circuit. Their reunion in 2022, after 14 silent years, wasn’t accompanied by a new record or a grand comeback narrative. It was just a handful of shows, played with the same reckless energy, and a quiet confirmation that the band still worked on its own terms.
This tour scales that impulse up. There’s no album to push, no documentary to cross-promote. It’s a tour about a record that turned 20, fronted by a band that never bothered with cycles to begin with. That makes it feel less like an obligation and more like a choice, something Rombo is happy to note.
