Boston Manor Announce 10th Anniversary Reissue of ‘Be Nothing’

The reissue arrives August 14 via Pure Noise Records, with an acoustic version of “Lead Feet” out today.

Boston Manor will return to their 2016 debut album “Be Nothing” for a 10th anniversary reissue, out August 14 on Pure Noise Records. The announcement lands alongside an acoustic rework of the track “Lead Feet,” streaming now.

The Lancashire band first released “Be Nothing” through the same label nearly a decade ago, a record that, by bassist Dan Cunniff’s account, reshaped their trajectory. He describes it as the moment they finally got to make a full-length properly, and the touring doors it opened took them around the world. That the album still holds up, he adds, feels like proof they got something right early on.

The anniversary edition adds four acoustic versions to the original tracklist: “Lead Feet,” “Laika,” “Forget Me Not,” and “Drowned in Gold.” On the new “Lead Feet,” the band slipped a lyrical fragment from their first EP “Here/Now” into the bridge, a small callback to their earliest days. Cunniff recalls that particular song teaching them a lot about writing and structure when they were still figuring things out.

The release follows Boston Manor’s 2024 studio album “Sundiver.” The reissue will be available on CD and special vinyl variants, with full digital distribution.
