Buckcherry’s tour bus was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on I-26 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, at approximately 2:00 AM Friday. The band said its members and touring crew were safe and unharmed.
The collision that occurred ahead of the bus resulted in a fatality, authorities confirmed. The band shared a statement on social media expressing condolences to the family and loved ones of the person who died. No details about the circumstances of the crash or the victim’s identity have been released.
Buckcherry is currently on the Roar Like Thunder Tour in support of its 11th album, Roar Like Thunder, released in June 2025 through Round Hill Records in North America. The record was produced by Marti Frederiksen and written by frontman Josh Todd, guitarist Stevie Dacanay, and Frederiksen. The current lineup includes Todd, Dacanay, guitarist Billy Rowe, bassist Kelly LeMieux, and drummer Francis Ruiz.
The band’s scheduled performance at the Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Friday is expected to go ahead as planned. No changes to the tour schedule have been announced.
