Fractal Audio has released the AM4, a compact amp and effects unit that shifts the company’s modelling technology into a more accessible tier. Until now, the FM3 MKII Turbo, at £1,149, was the most affordable route to Fractal’s full amp and effects ecosystem. The AM4 comes in at the same price as the effects-only VP4, without stripping out the amp models that define the brand’s sound.
