Gang Of Four Announce 2026 Return with New Single

The post-punk group schedules festival dates and releases “No Kings Here!” after previously marking their final shows.

Gang Of Four’s farewell last summer was not as final as it seemed. The influential post-punk band has confirmed a return to the stage with dates in 2026, including a performance at Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival.

This revival coincides with the release of a new single, “No Kings Here!”. The track arrives as a pointed statement, its title a clear rejection of authoritarianism. It marks the group’s first new music since their last studio album in 2019.

The decision to resume activity reopens the chapter on a band whose angular, politically charged sound has remained a persistent reference point. Their planned festival appearance suggests a continuation rather than a closed ending, shifting the narrative from a definitive break to an ongoing, if intermittent, presence.
