Iceland Airwaves Completes 2026 Lineup With Cobrah, Alien Chicks, Leith Ross

The Reykjavík festival closes its booking with three new additions and a full-album set from The Streets.

Iceland Airwaves has completed its 2026 lineup, adding Cobrah, Alien Chicks, and Leith Ross in the final wave. The Reykjavík festival also confirmed a special event: The Streets will perform A Grand Don’t Come For Free in full.

The full-album set gives the programme a distinct anchor. Rather than a standard festival slot, Mike Skinner’s project will present the 2004 record from start to finish, a format that shifts how the material works outside its original context.

Among the final artist announcements, Cobrah brings a more electronic pop register, Alien Chicks add a sharper rock edge, and Leith Ross contributes a quieter, songwriting-led presence. The mix keeps the bill varied without flattening it into a single sound.

With the line-up now finalised, Iceland Airwaves heads toward its 2026 edition with a programme built around club acts, guitar music, and the occasional full-length performance. The closing wave continues the festival’s long use of Reykjavík’s compact venue network to push emerging names and left-field bookings.

The Streets’ album set remains the most focused booking in the final announcement. It turns a familiar record into an event, while the remaining additions keep the undercard varied and geographically broad.
