Lollapalooza India Announces 2027 Line-Up With Four First-Time Performers in Mumbai

Limp Bizkit, Olivia Dean, KATSEYE, and Fontaines D.C. will make their India debuts when the festival returns to Mumbai in January.

Lollapalooza India has revealed the first wave of its 2027 line-up, confirming that four international acts will play their first-ever shows in the country. Limp Bizkit, Olivia Dean, KATSEYE, and Fontaines D.C. are all set to appear when the festival returns to Mumbai in January.

The announcement carries a different weight than previous years. Three of these names — Limp Bizkit, Fontaines D.C., and Olivia Dean — occupy distinct corners of current music, from nu-metal’s enduring pull to post-punk’s sharpest new voice and British soul-pop’s quiet expansion. KATSEYE, a global pop group, adds a different kind of reach.

For Fontaines D.C., the Mumbai date extends a run that has reshaped how Irish rock travels. Their India debut comes not as a novelty but as part of a wider festival circuit that has increasingly prioritized South Asia. The same logic applies to Limp Bizkit, whose late-career festival presence still draws crowds built on nostalgia and genuine rediscovery.

Lollapalooza India launched in Mumbai in 2023 and has since used the city as a testing ground for how global festival brands adapt to local audiences without flattening them. Booking four first-timers in the same edition suggests the event is doubling down on that promise rather than leaning on repeat headliners.

The full line-up has not yet been announced. What’s clear is that the festival is treating India debuts as a programming priority — and that the January 2027 edition will put that strategy on display.
