Jelly Roll Addresses Divorce Rumors on Stage, Confirms No Infidelity

The country artist paused his Little Ass Shed Tour stop to shut down online speculation, while Bunnie Xo revealed on her podcast that the separated couple still plans to have a child together.

Jelly Roll stopped his concert in Saratoga Springs mid-set on Thursday to respond to rumors spreading after news of his divorce from Bunnie Xo. “The internet is a liar,” he told the audience at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. “Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends.”

He was direct: no one cheated. The pair had spoken earlier that day. He pointed fans toward Bunnie’s Dumb Blonde podcast, which aired the same morning, and said every word of it was true. Before resuming the show, he added: “This is the only time I will ever speak about it. Bunnie, I love you, baby. Thank you for those 10 years.”

On the podcast, Bunnie described the toll of their yearslong IVF process and confirmed that, despite the separation, they still intend to have a baby together. She cited the hormonal effects of fertility treatment on Jelly Roll and the emotional weight it placed on her. “We have been the most unconventional couple,” she said, “but we’re still having a baby.”

The Las Vegas marriage in 2016 and a vow renewal seven years later framed a relationship he often described as an anchor during his rise. By addressing the rumors once and then closing the subject, Jelly Roll made a clear choice: no slow drip of clarification, just a single moment of control inside a live set.
