Kings of Leon have announced a North American tour for 2027 behind O My Beloved, their tenth studio album, which arrives today on Love Tap Records. The run covers arena and amphitheater shows in more than 30 cities across the United States and Canada, with Band of Horses and Dexter and the Moonrocks rotating as support.
The routing splits cleanly in two. Band of Horses take the spring leg, opening in Bristow, Virginia, on May 8 and running through sheds and pavilions in Philadelphia, Cuyahoga Falls, Noblesville, Clarkston, Saratoga Springs, Bangor and Bethel, with a Toronto date at RBC Amphitheatre on June 2 and a close in Tinley Park on June 6. Dexter and the Moonrocks pick up in September, from West Valley City on the 11th through Vancouver, Seattle, the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Red Rocks on September 20, Phoenix, Austin and Fort Worth, then Madison Square Garden on October 15. The two supporting acts trade the remaining dates in between, including Alpharetta, Orlando, Raleigh, Charlotte, Franklin, Cincinnati and Mansfield.
The venue list reads as a map of where a band with this history still expects to fill rooms: the old amphitheater circuit in summer, arenas when the weather turns. Red Rocks and the Garden in the same tour is a statement of range, and the September-to-October stretch is built to carry it.
For context on the band's place in the current landscape, see ROMBO's Kings of Leon coverage and our report on State Fayre Festival opening in Essex as country music surges across the UK. The Followills have spent two decades moving between Southern rock, arena-scale anthems and quieter turns, and a tenth record is a natural point to test how much of that catalog still holds a shed in 2027.
What to watch is the pairing. Band of Horses bring a strain of wide-screen American rock that sits close to the Kings' early records, while Dexter and the Moonrocks, a younger act, pull the fall dates toward a different audience. The choice of support is often the clearest signal of who a band thinks it is playing to now. Tickets and full dates sit with the band's official channels.
