Machine Gun Kelly, Fred Durst Collab Appears To Take Aim At Yungblud

A new track from Machine Gun Kelly and Fred Durst includes a line that seems aimed at Yungblud, a former collaborator. The British singer’s Disney past and private school background appear to be the target.

Machine Gun Kelly and Fred Durst released a new song this week called “Fix Ur Face.” It’s a collaboration between two figures who have leaned hard into the rap-rock revival. But the track’s real weight is in a single lyric that seems to take a shot at Yungblud.

On the song, MGK raps: “Mickey Mouse kids turned rockstars / Leaving private schools, tryna be outlaws.” The line points directly at Yungblud, who attended a private boarding school in England and appeared on the Disney series “The Lodge” in 2016. The two artists previously worked together on the 2020 track “I Think I’m Okay” and have shared festival bills. Now that connection looks strained.

MGK has since appeared to deny the diss on social media, writing “I see one partic” before trailing off. It’s unclear if he finished the thought. But the line is specific enough that it’s hard to read as coincidence.

Yungblud has not responded publicly. The feud, if it is one, feels like a natural turn for two artists who have positioned themselves as outsiders while carrying very different backgrounds. “Fix Ur Face” is out now on streaming platforms.
