Miley Cyrus Shares “Let’s Get Married” Video From New Album Bass Persuades

Miley Cyrus has released a video for “Let’s Get Married,” a track from her new album Bass Persuades. Directed by Mert Alas, the visual was shot at Chateau Marmont and features Cyrus’ fiancé, Maxx Morando. Despite the title, the clip does not stage a wedding. The couple appears together without exchanging rings.

Bass Persuades follows last year’s Something Beautiful and is Cyrus’ first album credited under the mononym Miley. The record arrived earlier this month with the title track, and a remix by New York art punks Model/Actriz followed. Cyrus reflected on Instagram about the short gap between writing and release: “It’s been less than a year since starting to create this album and now releasing it. Having this record keep up with the way my life moves in real time and still feel so alive is special.”
