Miley Cyrus Suggests a Residency Could Follow Her Hollywood Bowl Shows

Miley Cyrus is weighing a residency as a credible alternative to conventional touring. In conversation with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, Cyrus described her two upcoming Hollywood Bowl performances as “the ultimate dress rehearsal” and suggested that a fixed run might suit her better than an extensive tour. The October 2026 dates at the 17,500-capacity venue drew an estimated 1.5 million attempted ticket buyers, a figure Lowe used to argue for an 80-show run.

Cyrus didn’t confirm any plan. But her framing was direct: “I’ve learned now through the queue that my calculations are correct, and people will come to me. I don’t need to drive to you.” That reverses the usual logic of touring, where artists take the music to the audience. For Cyrus, the demand is already concentrated in Los Angeles, and a residency would keep her close to the stability she has said matters more to her than life on the road.

The Bowl shows will stage ‘Bass Persuades’, her tenth album, released in September. The ten-track record includes collaborations with Model/Actriz and Andrew Wyatt, and a Mert Alas-directed video for ‘Let’s Get Married’. A residency would extend that project without the travel she has openly resisted. No venue, length, or dates have been announced, but the Hollywood Bowl run now reads as a controlled experiment in staying put.
