The industrial metal band pairs guttural vocals and carnival synths with an AI-generated video that leaves no doubt about its subject.
Ministry have never been subtle about their political targets, but “We Hate” removes any remaining ambiguity. The new single from the industrial metal band’s upcoming final album, Hate to Go (Take Out or Delivery), arrives with an AI-powered music video directed by Joshua Bradford that depicts Donald Trump in a series of humiliating positions.
The song itself pairs carnival funhouse synths with pounding guitars as frontman Al Jourgensen delivers guttural spoken-word vocals. A lengthy outro shifts into German industrial dance territory, including German spoken word elements—an abrupt but deliberate turn that extends the track’s confrontational framing. The video makes the target explicit, attacking Trump and his policies directly.
The album is due October 30th. Ministry are also preparing for a run of US tour dates and festival appearances, including co-headlining shows with Acid Bath and sets at Louder Than Life and Sick New World Texas.
