The Migos rapper has been discharged and issued his first personal statement, saying he is focused on recovery and family.

Offset has been released from the hospital days after being shot outside a Florida casino. A spokesperson confirmed the news, stating the rapper is now up and walking.

On Friday, Offset shared a handwritten note on Instagram, his first personal statement since the incident. He thanked fans for their support. “I’m good… but I’m planning to be better,” he wrote. “I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music.” He closed the message with a reflection, “Realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses… Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win.”

The shooting occurred Monday outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Authorities reported his injuries were not life threatening. Local police have not formally charged anyone in connection with the event.
