Olof Dreijer Plots First Solo Tour

Olof Dreijer has announced his first ever solo tour, set to run through North America and Europe this autumn. The dates follow the release of his debut solo album Loud Bloom earlier this year, itself a return after a long stretch of near-silence from the Swedish producer and co-founder of the Knife.

The tour opens September 25 in Philadelphia and includes stops in New York, Chicago, London, Berlin, and two Swedish cities—Malmö and Gothenburg—before closing in Stockholm on October 31. Additional shows in Copenhagen, Oslo, Montreal, and Bristol are also on the itinerary.

Dreijer says the set will draw from the album as well as older solo material and remixes. “I’ve done my best to make a dancey set for us to have fun together,” he shared in a statement, adding that a light design team is putting together “a very beautiful light show.” It’s a noticeable shift from the Knife’s more theatrical, confrontational performances, pointing toward a direct, club-focused experience.

The tour extends a measured solo arc. After years without new music, Dreijer resurfaced in 2023 with the EP Rosa Rugosa; Loud Bloom followed this year on his own label. The live shows will test how that material holds a room on its own terms.
