Rosalía’s SNL Performance Pushes Four ‘Lux’ Tracks Up the Spotify Charts

A rain-soaked live rendition of “Magnolias” sent U.S. streams up 336 percent, with gains landing hardest on the album’s non-single material.

Rosalía’s Oct. 10 appearance on Saturday Night Live did more for her album Lux than any single push. U.S. Spotify streams for “Magnolias” rose 336 percent on Oct. 12, two days after she performed the song on air with rain falling across the stage. “Reliquia,” the second Lux track she played that night, climbed 150 percent.

Two songs she did not perform also moved: “Divinize” up 142 percent, “Mundo Nuevo” up 60 percent. The gains landed hardest on non-single material, the kind of tracks that usually stay buried beneath an album’s lead. Clips from both performances circulated widely over the weekend, and Hailey Bieber posted about the record on Instagram with “Magnolias” playing.

Lux, Rosalía’s fourth album, arrived in November 2025 and drew on her classical training, with lyrics spread across 13 languages. Its release already set a Spotify benchmark: 42.1 million streams in 24 hours, the most for a female Spanish-language artist on the platform in that window.

What the new numbers show is narrower than they might look. A live television slot can still route listeners past an album’s singles and into its deeper catalog, at least for a few days. Whether that attention holds is a different question from whether it spiked.
