Spiritbox Release ‘Mourning’ Ahead of UK Arena Run

The Canadian metal band shares a new single and video as they prepare for arena dates including London’s OVO Wembley on September 19th.

Spiritbox have released “Mourning” as the Canadian band heads toward their UK arena run this month. The single arrives before shows in Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester, and Cardiff, with a London date at OVO Wembley Arena set for September 19th.

The track leans into the band’s cinematic instincts without softening their core heaviness. It opens with space and restraint before building into textured guitars and a vocal performance that moves between melodic control and full-throated force. The video, co-directed by Alex Bemis and Spiritbox guitarist Mike Stringer, carries that same tension visually. There is a deliberate pacing here — less spectacle, more atmosphere.

Spiritbox have reached the point where arena billing does not feel like a stretch. The group built momentum on precision and visual identity, and “Mourning” fits that trajectory. It does not signal a pivot so much as confirm the path they have been on. The UK dates will test that approach in the largest rooms they have headlined here.
