Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless has been hospitalized following a serious reaction to a spider bite sustained last week in Mexico. The singer is currently on the road supporting AC/DC.
Momsen was initially treated on site and performed subsequent dates. The situation escalated this week, requiring hospital admission for further care. She posted an image of a significant rash on her leg from her hospital bed.
In her post, Momsen indicated her intent to perform an upcoming show in Mexico City, writing “the show must go on.” A later update showed her being wheeled through the hospital, casting doubt on that immediate return.
The incident highlights the physical unpredictability of touring, where minor events can develop into major health interruptions mid schedule.
