Bumbershoot 2026 Announces Lineup with Turnstile, Death Cab for Cutie, Japanese Breakfast

The Seattle festival’s 2026 edition returns to Seattle Center over Labor Day Weekend with a cross-generational lineup.

The 2026 lineup for Seattle’s Bumbershoot festival has been confirmed. The event is scheduled for Labor Day Weekend, September 5 and 6, at the Seattle Center grounds.

This year’s bill presents a deliberate mix of genres and eras. Headliners include the hardcore-inflected rock of Turnstile and Seattle’s own Death Cab for Cutie. They are joined by artists like Japanese Breakfast, Blood Orange, and Orville Peck. The lineup also features a notable legacy act in the recently revitalized De La Soul, alongside the influential punk group Bikini Kill.

Bumbershoot’s curation continues to balance mainstream indie appeal with foundational alternative acts. The festival’s return to its historic Seattle Center location remains a key part of its identity, anchoring a major cultural moment in the city’s calendar.
