The progressive rock band has postponed its upcoming European tour as guitarist Steve Howe requires an essential surgical procedure.
Yes have postponed their scheduled European tour dates. The decision was made to allow guitarist Steve Howe time to undergo what the band describes as an “essential surgery.”
A statement from the group explained the move was necessary to ensure Howe can return to the stage in full health. The tour was set to support the band’s most recent studio album, “The Quest,” released in 2021.
New dates for the affected shows are expected to be announced in due course. The band has asked for understanding from fans as they prioritize the longtime member’s recovery. This marks another pause for the veteran act, whose touring plans have been periodically interrupted by health matters in recent years.
