Poison the Well and Converge Co-Headline Knockdown Center with Spy and Balmora

The two influential metalcore acts, each supporting a recent album, brought their co-headlining tour to Queens with support from Spy and Balmora.

Poison the Well and Converge performed a co-headlining show at Queens’ Knockdown Center on April 10. The tour pairs two defining acts from metalcore’s earlier waves, each currently promoting new material.

Poison the Well’s set drew from their first album in 17 years, ‘Peace in Place,’ while Converge’s included tracks from last year’s ‘Love Is Not Enough.’ The bill was completed by West Coast hardcore group Spy and Connecticut’s death metal-infused Balmora.

The New York date falls in the middle of a joint tour that began earlier this month. After a break for the Sick New World festival, where Poison the Well is scheduled to appear, the tour resumes and runs through mid-May.
