A Twitch streamer’s encounter with Drake has reportedly revealed the release date for the long-teased album ‘Iceman’.
A release date for Drake’s anticipated album ‘Iceman’ has reportedly surfaced through an unusual encounter. Twitch streamer Kisha claims he was told the album will arrive on May 15 after a visit to the rapper’s Toronto home.
The streamer had previously been seen chipping away at a large ice sculpture Drake installed outside his mansion, a clear reference to the project. He later livestreamed a trip to the property, stating he received the date and a financial gift.
Drake has been building the ‘Iceman’ narrative since last summer through a series of cryptic noir-style YouTube livestreams featuring artists like Central Cee and Yeat. Last week, his courtside seats at a Toronto Raptors game were also styled to appear frozen.
While not officially confirmed by Drake or OVO Sound, the alleged May 15 date aligns with the escalating promotional campaign. The method of its disclosure continues the album’s theme of oblique, viral teasers.
