Built to Spill Add October East Coast Run to 2026 Tour

The Boise band extends its fall itinerary with Quasi and bassist Melanie Radford’s solo sets supporting.

Built to Spill has padded out its fall calendar with a fresh leg of East Coast dates. The second half of the 2026 U.S. tour launches October 21st and 22nd at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg and winds through Albany, Cambridge, Baltimore, and Richmond before landing November 7th at the Williams Center’s Black Box Theatre in Rutherford, New Jersey.

The newly added shows keep the band in smaller clubs—a setting that suits Doug Martsch’s sprawling guitar lines better than any festival stage ever could. Support comes from Portland duo Quasi, sharp and frayed in their own right, while Built to Spill bassist Melanie Radford opens most nights with solo sets, pushing the bill into more exploratory territory.

This block follows an earlier fall stretch with Paul Schalda that was announced in March and runs from mid-September to early October. The band is currently on a summer tour—including dates with Courtney Barnett—and shows no sign of slowing its deliberately paced, year-round schedule. Tickets for the October dates go on sale Friday, June 19th at 10 a.m. local time.
