The four-tracker refines the producer’s focused house sound without sacrificing its floor-minded warmth.
Pancratio returns to Ryan Elliott’s Faith Beat this month with Be Yourself, a four-track EP that extends the lane he carved with last year’s Automatic House. That album drew steady attention for its low-slung basslines, driving percussion, and an unforced late-night feel — qualities the new material sharpens rather than reimagines.
The title track opens with the same purposeful restraint. Take Me To The Music sustains a hypnotic pulse across the A-side, while Catch Me and It’s Time carry the flip with equal conviction. Across both sides, the sound stays lean and classy, focused squarely on the floor without feeling mechanical.
Faith Beat has long championed this strain of pumping, no-excess house, and Pancratio remains one of its most consistent contributors. Be Yourself doesn’t try to overcomplicate the formula — it just locks in tighter. The EP lands 31st July on vinyl and digital. Pre-orders are open now via the Inverted Audio Record Store.
