The Big Moon Announce ‘Forever’, Share New Single ‘Fun’

The Big Moon have detailed their third album. ‘Forever’ will arrive on October 30 via Fiction Records, and the band are offering a second glimpse with the single ‘Fun’, out now.

The track draws directly from the band’s live energy — taut, buoyant, and unafraid of a chorus that lands without apology. Where much guitar music reaches for weight through darkness, The Big Moon push in the opposite direction. “I think there’s this idea that for art to be deep it has to be SERIOUS and DARK,” songwriter Juliette Jackson says, “but joy and humour is just as integral to being a human being, and just as authentic and meaningful as the dark, painful stuff. Pop music forever.”

The album itself was designed around that principle. ‘Forever’ is a deliberate turn toward levity, not as a retreat from substance but as a different register for it. The single makes the case cleanly — a sharp, well‑built indie track that doesn’t rely on overcooked production to feel immediate.

Alongside the release news, the band have confirmed a run of UK headline dates for November, including stops in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, Brighton, Manchester, Leeds, and a London show at O2 Academy Brixton on the 27th.
