PVA Turn ‘NO MORE LIKE THIS’ Into New Project, ‘A Dream Like This’

Rather than moving on from their latest album, PVA have pulled it into a different shape. The London trio’s new project, A Dream Like This, arrives on October 2nd and stems directly from rehearsals for NO MORE LIKE THIS.

Working out how to present the material live created a renewed creative impetus. In the rehearsal room, songs were teased out in different directions until they became something markedly new — a parallel realm to the album, not a simple live reproduction.

Two tracks from that process have already been released: ‘Rain (Dream Edition)’ and ‘Enough (Dream Edition)’. They sit alongside news of an in-the-round performance at London’s ICA on October 23rd.

The project gives PVA space to reimagine the album’s material in fresh ways. It positions the live process as an engine for new recordings, rather than an afterthought.
