The Swedish singer brought out PinkPantheress as a surprise guest in London, marking the first live performance of their “Stateside” remix.
Zara Larsson’s set at London’s All Points East festival became the site of a long-delayed first. PinkPantheress joined the Swedish singer on stage to perform their “Stateside” remix together, after months of near misses and separate appearances.
The collaboration dates back to earlier this year, when PinkPantheress brought Larsson out during her Coachella set. Larsson performed “Midnight Sun” alone that day. Shortly after, she released a remixed version of the track with PinkPantheress. Until now, the two had not performed it together live.
At All Points East, PinkPantheress appeared as an unannounced guest, and the pair ran through the remix in front of the London crowd. The song had already gained wider reach: American figure skater Alysa Liu used it during the Olympic figure skating Exhibition Gala in February.
That detail underlines how the collaboration moved beyond streaming playlists. The festival appearance gives it a live document, with both voices finally sharing the same stage rather than trading verses remotely.
