Fontaines D.C. have confirmed a headline show at Slane Castle on June 26, 2027. The announcement lands days after the band closed out headline sets at Reading and Leeds, and follows last week’s confirmation of a full UK and European tour.
The Slane date carries historical weight. Fontaines D.C. will become only the third Irish act to headline the venue, after U2 and Thin Lizzy. The site has previously hosted U2, Oasis, Madonna, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones, placing the Dublin band in a lineage that stretches across several eras of live music.
The show arrives as the group prepares to release their new album, Dopamine Chamber, on October 16. Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST on Thursday 3 September, with pre-sale access opening at 10am BST on Tuesday 1 September. Pre-sale sign-up is available now through the band’s live page.
The Slane date gives the upcoming tour a distinct endpoint in Ireland, reframing the album cycle around a venue whose scale and history are rare for Irish acts.
