Little Grandad Announce Debut Album ‘Speak Softly, Son’ and Share New Single ‘Tiny Feet’

The London alt-country quartet detail their first full-length, due January 2027, and release a new track with a video directed by Xander Lewis.

Little Grandad have confirmed their debut album, Speak Softly, Son, set for release on 22 January 2027. The London alt-country quartet shared the news alongside a new single, Tiny Feet, with a video directed by Xander Lewis.

The record was produced by Kev Jones of Wunderhorse and arrives just over a year after the band formed. In that short stretch, Little Grandad have built a reputation through steady gigging, pulling together Americana and slacker rock with traces of British indie.

At the centre are brothers Jack and Harry Lower, whose shared songwriting began when Harry finally showed Jack the songs he had been quietly writing. The sibling vocal blend has become a defining element of the band’s sound and trajectory. Their first Windmill show last summer marked an early step in that quick rise.

Little Grandad are currently on an eight-date UK headline run, including a London show at Scala on 16 September.
