AI Ozzy Osbourne Avatar Will Talk to Fans This Summer

The Osbourne family announced a real-time AI avatar of Ozzy Osbourne at Licensing Expo 2026, built with Hyperreal and Proto Hologram’s digital DNA technology and set for release later this summer.

The Osbourne family announced a partnership with Hyperreal and Proto Hologram at Licensing Expo 2026 in Las Vegas to create an AI-powered Ozzy Osbourne. The avatar, built from the musician’s “digital DNA,” will converse with fans in real time later this summer through Proto Luma units in the U.K. and U.S.

“You can ask [the digital] Ozzy anything, and he will answer you in his own voice — and the answers will be what Ozzy would have said,” Sharon Osbourne said at the expo. Jack Osbourne called the accuracy “kind of scary.”

The technology runs on Hyperreal’s patented process that allows live, interactive performances, not pre-rendered loops. CEO Remington Scott said the avatar is built “exclusively from authenticated source material: curated, consented, and controlled by the people closest to Ozzy.” Hyperreal previously created a digital Stan Lee that held conversations with Marvel fans at L.A. Comic-Con in 2025.
