Dan Croll Details the Pull of the Past on ‘One More Time’

Dan Croll has shared ‘One More Time’, the last single before his new album ‘Winning Streak’ arrives on 9 October. The track is built around a carousel image: time keeps moving, and once the ride stops, stepping back on isn’t possible. Croll describes it as a song about learning to live with the choices he has made, and getting used to a life that doesn’t quite match what he expected.

That tension between acceptance and quiet longing runs through the record. Written after his move from Los Angeles back to the UK, ‘Winning Streak’ works through shifting ideas of success and resilience — less about breakthrough moments than the smaller victories of carrying on.

Croll’s path has already crossed into wider visibility: ‘From Nowhere’ soundtracked the global iPhone 6 campaign, and he has toured with Imagine Dragons, Bastille, Bombay Bicycle Club, HAIM, London Grammar and CHVRCHES. To mark the album’s release, he will play a run of UK in-store performances in Leeds, Liverpool, Oxford, London, Kingston, Southampton and Portsmouth. Both the original London date and the added London show have sold out.
