The influential Philadelphia punk band will perform a 30th anniversary show for their album ‘Goodnight Sellout’ this September.
Plow United is returning to the stage. The Philadelphia punk band will play its first show in ten years this September to mark the 30th anniversary of its album ‘Goodnight Sellout’.
The event is set for September 28th at Brooklyn’s Monarch. The bill includes fellow punk acts The Ergs! and The Raging Nathans, with a comedy set from Chris Gethard.
Formed in the early 1990s, Plow United built a dedicated following with their melodic, urgent style before an initial hiatus. Their reunion a decade ago was met with strong response, making this subsequent return a notable moment for a certain strand of American punk history.
Tickets go on sale this Friday. The show serves as a specific gathering point, less a broad comeback and more a deliberate nod to an album and an era that still resonates.
