The institution’s latest class includes Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, and Wu-Tang Clan, with the ceremony set for November.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has revealed its inductees for the class of 2026. The list includes several acts with deep roots in alternative and electronic music, notably the combined entry of Joy Division and New Order, alongside Oasis and Wu-Tang Clan.
Phil Collins, Sade, Iron Maiden, Billy Idol, and Luther Vandross complete the main performer category. The Wu-Tang Clan and Vandross were inducted in their first year of eligibility. Most other inductees had been nominated once before, though Oasis, Iron Maiden, and the Joy Division/New Order entry had each been nominated twice previously.
The induction ceremony is scheduled for November 14 in Los Angeles. It will be broadcast on ABC and stream on Disney+ at a later date in December. Artists who were nominated but not selected this year include Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, and Shakira.
