Slayyyter Drops “Brand New Chanel$” on Eve of Headlining Tour

The new track lands as the pop contrarian begins her Worst Girl in the World run, sharpening a stance against artificiality.

Slayyyter has released “Brand New Chanel$,” a standalone single timed to the first dates of her Worst Girl in the World tour. The track arrives without ceremony — a direct follow-up to this year’s Wor$t Girl in America and a practical piece of tour fuel.

The St. Louis-native launched the run with a hometown show last weekend, shortly before appearing on a Billboard cover alongside Bella Kay and Trueno. In that feature, she drew a clean line between her work and the encroachment of AI. “I don’t really like anything new—I don’t even like a Roomba,” she told Jason Lipshutz. “As AI is unfortunately taking over and flooding into music, movies, art, everything, I think people are leaning into things that feel more real.”

It’s a fitting declaration for an artist whose live presence already leans into tactile excess — her Fallon debut earlier this year brought “Dance” in a beer-can bralette, a gesture equal parts camp and confrontation. The new single, like much of her recent output, courts glossy pop surfaces but stays tethered to a bratty, physical immediacy. A track like “Brand New Chanel$” functions less as a pivot than as a reiteration: image-conscious, deliberately shallow, and sharp enough to cut.

The tour continues through the summer. No additional music has been announced.
