Slayyyter’s next album arrives Dec. 4 via Columbia, built as an inverse companion to her breakout record, with nine tracks that answer it point by point.
Slayyyter has announced Wor$t Man in America, out Dec. 4 via Columbia, a nine-song companion to Wor$t Girl in America, the album that broke through for her. She describes it as a brother record, and the structure supports that: every track is connected thematically or sonically to a song on its predecessor.
Two of those songs are already out. “Crank 2” and “Beat Up Chanel$” rework “Crank” and “Brand New Chanel$” respectively, revisiting familiar material rather than simply extending it. The remaining tracklist runs from “$$$” and “Nekromantik!” to “Perfect Woman” and “*Hymn*.”
In a recent interview, Slayyyter framed the project as a decision to stay inside the world she built instead of moving past it. “I want to live here for a little longer, so I’m kind of making an inverse album, if you will,” she said. “I just want the core of everything to feel like me, because it finally feels that.”
Getting there took time. Troubled Paradise (2021) and Starfucker (2023) were, by her own account, the building blocks to figuring out her sound, groundwork she says could not have produced Wor$t Girl as a debut.
The announcement lands days after she closed her North American headline tour with two New York shows. She supports Turnstile in Lawrence, Kansas this week, then plays South America, Europe and the UK through early November, with Australia and New Zealand dates set for early 2027.
