Converge to Release Second Album of 2026, ‘Hum of Hurt’

The band confirms a follow-up to their January LP, sharing the title track from the new record.

Converge will release their second album of the year on June 5. Titled ‘Hum of Hurt’, it arrives via Deathwish Inc. just months after their January LP, ‘All We Love We Leave Behind’.

The band shared the album’s title track, a dense and driving piece that aligns with their recent work. It maintains their signature intensity while exploring a more deliberate, atmospheric pacing.

Releasing two full-length albums in a single year is an uncommon move for a band with Converge’s legacy and meticulous approach. It suggests a period of sustained creative output, following a pattern of productivity they established earlier in the decade.

The announcement confirms the band’s current pace without leaning on standard promotional cycles. ‘Hum of Hurt’ is available for pre-order now.
